Everyone has their dream places that they want to visit. Most people like to go to the Caribbean cuz they are in to the beaches and stuff, but not me. The places i want to go to are for photographic reasons. Google images is my best friend when it comes to places i want to go..

These are my dream places.. in order of importance.!!

Tasmania - A protected environment, raw landscapes, unseen places.

Free Willy.. aka Keiko

So.. i was listening to music on my foobar and Michael Jackson - Will You Be There came on. It reminded me of free willy the movie. So i imdb-ed it just to read stuff about the movie i may not have known before... cuz i loved free willy!!
But i came across this little tidbit of information that made me very sad...

Mini Biography

Keiko, a Genus Orca whale, was born in 1976 and captured off the coast of Iceland in 1979. He was sold to the marine park industry, and lived a normal life for a captive whale until 1993. In that year, he was cast as "Willy" in the movie "Free Willy," capturing the hearts of millions of children and adults worldwide. Afterwards, he was virtually forgotten until he was found living in horrible condition in a Mexican aquarium. An international pledge was started, and enough money was raised to have him sent to the Oregon Coast Aquarium; before being airlifted back to Iceland in 1998 to prepare him for a return to the wild.

He was trained to survive in the wild and released in July of 2002, but he longed for human contact. He swam 870 miles; eventually ending up in Helsa, Norway in September of 2002, where local residents played with him often; so much so that animal protection authorities banned anyone from approaching him. He was looked after by whale keepers for the last year of life, suddenly coming down with pneumonia on December 10, 2003. He died a day later.

I feel sooo bad for Keiko. He just wanted to be around people.. but they kept people away from him. I bet his feelings were hurt..

I'm gonna watch Free Willy 1,2 and 3 this week just cuz i can. i have the dvds.

Computer Upgrade

Finally I am getting a computer upgrade.
I just bought myself 2 1gb sticks of ram.!!!
currently im running on 1 stick of 512mb ram, which explains the crappiness of my computer!!
I am soo very excited to finally be able to use this computer and have it actually work the way it should!! YAYAY!!

Okay so this is the second show ive been to this winter season, and generally when i got to big shows.. there is no cameras allowed.. and both times ive been this season.. cameras are allowed. so.. no pictures from the actual show./. but believe me it was amazing.

i do however, have pictures from the hotel room. first picture is from saturday night before the show.. second one is from midnight after the show, third is from before breakfast, and the final picture is from after breakfast when we are about to leave.

on the drive home, our wiper blade broke and had to have an OPP escort to Canadian Tire to get new wiper blades... twas an exciting day, except for the jersk who try to run you in to the center median.. jerk in the navy blue GMC!!!

Room Update!!

So its been like MONTHS since i first posted something aboot my new room that is being built, well its 95% done!! YAY!! all thats left is the electrical and baseboards. That should be done this weekend.
I have my furniture from ikea to build. So far out of 7 pieces of furniture i have 3 built. 1 of 2 cd towers, the bedside table and the big wardrobe<3.

Trans Siberian Orchestra

So, it is almsot 1am.. and I've been home long enough to finally settle down a tad. Tonight was the night we went to see Trans Siberian Orchestra. .. and Oh.. My.. Gosh!!.. seriously without a doubt THEE best show ive ever seen.. the best show in the world. The music of course is awesome, the visuals were unbelievable, and the old men were cute<3... lol

funny thing happened when we arrived...we ended up sitting in row 24, thinking it was aisle 24, which was on the ticket... lol eventually people who actually had seat 3 and 4 in row 24 came.. adn the usher asked us if he could see our tickets. We hand them to him and he points out.. " you guys are in supposed to be in row 4".. LOL.. so we get escorted to the 4th row. was it ever hilarious.. and wow!!..
during the show there was pyrotechnics.. and flames and stuff, we were soo close we could feel the heat from them. it was simply amazing. we are going back again next year, and next year i am buying a new camera so i can bring it in. most awesomest thing, is my mom agreed on letting me buy a new camera just to have it for the show. She is even thinking aboot getting an american express card so we can get in to the box office a half hour early when the tickets go on sale.. lol.

anyways.. bed time..

Sooo many photos

I have about 2500 photos to organize and edit this week.
I am soooooooo overwhelmed.
I have 2 photoshops open (CS2 & Elements) have i'm trying to do 2 sets at a time, but my computer hates life, and well its not working very well.
I wish i had a macbook pro.!!

Thats enough for today. I need to get working if i want to get everything finished today. Maybe i'll even get a chance to upload some new photos to deviant art and maybe MAYBE even my website. I need to get that finished.

IKEA RUN!!

So we went to Ikea today. Spent $1000...=O
I got:
-a bookcase which consists of 2 of each of these.
<----- its a door!! with glass I wont actually use them for books!! THEY ARE GONNA HOUSE MY DVDS!! the best books were made in to movies.. lol so I win. weeeeeeee! I also got stuff for my clothes. I already refuse to fold my clothes and put them in to a drawer, so since my new room does not have a closet, I needed to buy a wardrobe. I feel English everytime I say wardrobe... lol anyways.. This is what I got:

So far I have put together the little bedside table, which took me an hour and a half. Everything else is being delivered Monday... WITH A FEE OF $119.. eff you ikea!!... lol I didn't pay it tho, my mom did. I cant wait to get my new room started. I have the furniture now, so now I need floors, walls, a ceiling.. and paint!!!!
